Leserbilder Astronomie: Star trails on Mount Etna during Strombolian and effusive activity

The volcano appears to have awakened: slight Strombolian activity rises from the top of the Voragine crater, while a fracture at its base generates an increasingly extensive lava flow. The combination of 400 shots created a sky crossed by luminous streaks, recording the apparent movement of the stars.
