Tumorzellen), die durch Interaktionen mit zwei Subfamilien nucle&#228;rer Retins&#228;urerezeptoren, <I>RAR<\/I> (&#945;,&#946;,&#964;) und <I>RXR<\/I> (&#945;,&#946;,&#964;) erkl&#228;rt werden (Familie der Steroid-Thyroid-Rezeptoren). Nach Bindung der Retins&#228;ure wirkt der Retinoidrezeptor als Transcriptionsfaktor durch Bindung an spezifische DNA-Sequenzen (RARE, <I>retinoic acid responsive element<\/I>, TRE, <I>thyroid responsive element<\/I>).
