NGC 6946, better known as the Fireworks Galaxy due to its characteristics, is a spiral galaxy located on the border between the constellations of Cygnus and Cepheus.
In fact, 10 supernovae have been observed inside it in the last 100 years. It is located about 10 million light years from the Milky Way and has a luminosity equal to about 30 billion suns. The data were acquired during the second star party in the south, organized in Stigliano by the Salento Amateur Astronomers Group.
